How to turn on ‘install App from anywhere’ on macOS Sierra 10.12 and above

In System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >> Allow apps downloaded from you cannot see Anywhere when you want to install an App not from AppStore or any developer who is NOT identified.

  1. Open your Terminal

  2. Type in sudo spctl --master-disable

  3. Press enter then type in your system password

  4. Re-launch – (close then open) your System Preferences setting panel then you can see the option Anywhere

  5. Done
